Canadian companies that are exposed to competition from firms in other jurisdictions, will only make investments in energy efficiency when those investments are cost-effective and have a demonstrable impact on improving competitiveness.

This is one of several key conclusions from a recent report released by the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI) entitled, “Industrial Competitiveness and Energy Efficiency”.
