In 2024, 360 Energy launched the Hamilton Industrial Park Energy (HIPE) Network, an innovative program designed to transform energy and carbon management for businesses in Hamilton’s industrial parks. HIPE Network provides state-of-the-art tools, expert insights, and a collaborative platform to address rising energy costs, meet carbon regulations, and build long-term resilience.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited to expand the HIPE Network, bringing its benefits to more industrial parks and businesses across the region. Our tailored 12–24-month program offers:
To mark its launch, HIPE Network is offering a FREE 12-Month Energy-Carbon Assessment for participating businesses, including a comprehensive energy summary, accurate carbon emissions report, and actionable insights.
By joining the HIPE Network, businesses can turn energy challenges into opportunities, helping them cut costs, reduce emissions, stay competitive, and become more profitable.
The regulatory environment is rapidly evolving, with significant changes impacting energy markets and trade relations.
In October 2024, the Ontario government introduced the Affordable Energy Act, 2024 (Bill 214), aiming to streamline regulatory processes for energy infrastructure development, including electric vehicle charging and housing projects in high-growth areas. Additionally, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) announced adjustments to electricity prices effective November 1, 2024, affecting households, small businesses, and farms.
President-elect Donald Trump has proposed a 25% tariff on all imports from Canada, set to take effect on January 20, 2025. This development could significantly impact Canadian exporters, necessitating a focus on cost reduction and operational efficiency to maintain competitiveness.
At 360 Energy, we are committed to helping our clients navigate these changes effectively.
Our Envirally platform offers audit-ready reporting and compliance support, enabling businesses to adapt to new regulations and mitigate potential cost increases.
By proactively managing energy consumption and enhancing efficiency, organizations can turn regulatory challenges into opportunities for growth and resilience.
